New at the Co-op

10 Year Celebration on Oct 21 (September 8, 2008)
The UCS Co-op is hosting its 10 Year Celebration event The Perspective at 10 on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre from 2:00pm to 8:00pm.  The event has three specific components: an afternoon session for emerging leader (click on the left image below for the PDF invitation), our 10th Annual General Meeting (click on the middle image for the PDF invitation), and a celebration event highlighted by a keynote address and panel discussion (click on the right image for the PDF invitation).

February 1, 2008 - Second Passion For Work Week Poster Launched
Last month the Co-op e-launched our Passion For Work Week campaign, which was created as a result of last June's Leading Change 2007 event. We are happy to release the second poster in our campaign, to serve as a reminder to organizations across BC to take some time between February 11-15 to have impassioned conversations with staff, leaders (both emerging and existing) about issues and topics that you are passioniate about. January 14, 2008 - Passion for Work Week Campaign Launched
We heard it loud and clear at last June's Leading Change 2007 event. Leaders - existing and emerging - were concerned about passion. Where is it? Is it still as strong as ever? Is it slipping away, lost in the hussle and bussle of the everyday? The United Community Services Co-op is please to launch the start of a new campaign - one for Passion for Work Week 2008!
