UCSC Staff, Consultants and Associates

United Community Services Co-op has a small staff, operating through its close connections with associates. The staff and associates with the Co-op have with a wide variety of expertise and experience that will directly contribute to the capacity of non-profit organizations.

Tim Beachy, M.A. Tim Beachy is the CEO of the Co-op. He has more than 30 years in the non-profit sector. Prior to founding the Co-op, Tim held the position of Vice President of United Way of Canada and Executive Director of the Community Social Service Employers Association of B.C. Tim leads the Co-op's Strategic Consulting Partnership and works directly with many organizations that are undertaking co-operative and enterprising development.

John Neilson John is the Chief Operating Officer of the Co-op. He leads the Co-op's management and human resources consulting practice. John's experience spans 40 years including several years at the most senior levels of one of BC's largest Crown Corporations and five years as CEO of the Community Social Service Employers Association of B.C.
